The first thing that comes to mind when we think about milk is the purity and the nutrition it gives us. I believe that our mind is also like milk pure, nutritious, healthy and fulfilling. Well, it might behave in an evil way some times but we will get to that later.
So what happens to this pure, white, nutritious thing when lemon is squeezed in it? The obvious answer, it tears apart and goes bad. The speed at which it happens depends on the intensity of the lemon and the one who is squeezing it. The milk is curdled and turns into a lump which is not pleasant to look at. Most would think the milk is now useless and would dump it.
While the lemon is squeezed intentionally most of the times, it is sometimes unintentional too. The one squeezing the lemon in the milk is more than aware that the lemon juice will spoil the milk and will render it useless for plain consumption.
The owner of this milk has various options; initially the owner may be unaware of the reasons for the milk being spoilt. Probably the owner is too busy scrutinizing and fuming at the one squeezing the lemon and starts resenting and is clueless as to what to do with the milk gone bad. It frustrates, infuriates, saddens and demoralises the owner. The owner looks around and finds that there are lot of people with spoiled milk, and realises that he can do something with the spoiled milk after all. So he hangs the spoiled milk for some times away for the vessel and covers it with a cloth. And viola! There it is, delicious cottage cheese (our very own Paneer)! 😀 He further shapes it by putting it under some weight; this not only gives the cottage cheese the shape but also a texture. The owner also finds out that if it was heated more with all water drained which spoiled the milk, and a little sweetness added, it actually turns into a dessert (our very own Mawa Barfi)! 😀 So the spoiled milk can also become productive with some added heat and pressure.
But that fact that the milk is still spoilt saddened the owner and he started thinking about something preventive rather than curative. So over a period of time and with experience, the owner realises that if the milk is covered when the lemon is being squeezed in it, the milk will not go bad. The lemon juice remains on the lid and the person with the lemon squeezer uses all his energy but the milk doesn’t go bad! Plus the lid can be cleaned and will be good as new every single time. So every time the owner of the milk spotted someone with a lemon grinning evilly, he coolly puts a lid on the milk. The person with the lemon tries hard, uses all his energy to do so but just does not understand as to why the milk does not get spoilt or the owner infuriated! The owner smiles serenely and the nutrients and the purity of the milk remains. The lemon owner finally gives up!
People with negative vibes and energy are like the ones with lemon, our minds, with our, I mean everybody’s mind is pure, nutritious and fulfilling. It depends on us what we do with it. So cover the lid of your mind when you see people with lemons. If at all, someone does manage to pour lemon juice in your milk while you are busy washing the lid, try making Paneer or Mawa barfi out of it. 😉
